Edgar is founder and shareholder of QC café Company and has been in the coffee trading business since 1989, when he worked with The National Federation of Coffee Growers (FNC) & Almacafé in the Quality Control area.

Later, Mr. Gonzalez worked as representative in Colombia for Neumann Kaffee Gruppe, a foreign firm. There, he provided professional assessment in quality control to all the coffee for export that this firm purchased from The National Federation of Coffee Growers and other independent exporters.
